How does one go about promoting a web site? The first thing you want to do is your keyword research. Pick a few phrases and build around them. You want to anchor the keyword phrases in links that go back to your new website. There are a few pieces of software that can help you out with this task. But the main key is doing testing through a pay per click advertising program.
Put up a blog on your domain name and fill it with content, then learn SEO techniques. You can get a good mailing list of prospects by giving away something for free. This is how you will build up a relationship with between you and your visitors. Pick various keyword phrases and build content around those words. This is when you’d run your pay per click ad campaign to see what people are interested in.
Now take and write some articles and submit them to some of the directories. Build the article around the keyword phrase. To get back links to my website, I’ll post on some blog comments and put out a press release. The pages that you are creating on your website will drive traffic to your main offer that you are selling.
I’ll also take content and put in on another network and start building up traffic through those websites. I rewrite a lot of my articles and use them over again. I have a special system set up where it constantly spits out articles. All I do is feed the machine keywords. When I have the article written, I have it rewritten and those articles go out to the article submission websites and blog networks. They have a different version on my original article.
I use several networks that give me links back to my own website. I subscribe to some services that give me a good bang for my buck. If I want to do something special, I would do a video and blast that out.
I have a team that maps out a complete system from start to finish. I do the same thing with every single article that I write. I have a sheet that people log on to and keep track of the date an article was submitted.
You can do banner ads, pay per click campaigns and submit articles to different networks. Now comes a press release and I’ll buy links that point to my website. I find good blogs and post in the comment section and on discussion boards too. I belong to a link posting service that gives me one way links back to my website. I have the right to use a few blog networks, which I do joint ventures with others that have the same thing. Those are just a few things I do when promoting a website.
