eBay: Using eBay To Make Tons Of Cash

eBay intially began simply as a way for people to get rid of their unwanted items laying around the house. The main idea was to create a sort of e-Garage sale. This idea quickly sprouted into the business opportunity of a lifetime, as hundreds of motivated business people started making full-time incomes off of this little site. This site is filled with different people: casual buyers, hardcore buyers, once in a blue moon buyers etc. This vast collection of buyers has turned eBay into what it is known as today. You can literally sell anything you want on eBay.

The hardest part is, turning this confusing mess into a profit.

Dropshipping is not really anything new. Company’s pay other companies to ship stuff for them all the time. This has been going on for years. A couple of years ago, this started becoming integrated with online business, and this is where it gets interesting, because ANYONE can make a business out of their home computer.

Many people think that in order to be a powerseller, you have to pack, ship, and manage inventory. In reality, most the powersellers today are relying on other people to do all of this for them. It’s easy, and fast. Why argue with that?

Here’s My Rundown On Profiting From Dropshipping:

• 1.) Locate a product to sell from a distributor.
• 2.) Choose where you want to sell it (Most likely ebay for starters)
• 3.) Find what it’s going for on the marketplace, and see if you can match it.
• 4.) Post the item on eBay and wait for a buyer.
• 5.) Order the item, and have it shipped to their address.

The whole point of this is to make atleast a few dollars profit per sale. The amount of work it takes to make a 5 dollar profit for this case is very minimal (at most 3 minutes of work for 5 dollars). That’s about $120 an hour. Not bad right?

This amount of money is only on a small scale. If you sell higher ticket items, you can expect to see much larger profit margins.

It’s very simple to post 100 items on eBay, and turn 90% of them for a profit, as long as you are getting the items cheaper, or at the same price as everyone else. Finding a place to get the items for competitive prices can be very challenging.

Ok, So How Do I Compete With Powersellers?

You need to locate items that you can get for cheap. I always suggest newcomers to dropshipping start with Salehoo, because it is very user friendly, and provides you with thousands of distributors that you cant find anywhere else. The price of Salehoo is affordable, and definitly worth an investment. You need to make an investment in your business if you want to succeed online, and this is one of the best investments you can make at the start.

There is another supplier called WorldWideBrands, but I’d suggest you stay away from this until you start making more sales, due to it being extremely expensive.
